Thanks for the tutorial...

Is it still up to date? Do I still need to run

svn co https://opende.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/opende/trunk ode

If so…here's my issue:

bash-3.2$ svn co https://opende.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/opende/trunk ode

Fetching external item into 'ode/ou'
Checked out external at revision 35.

Checked out revision 1825.
bash-3.2$ cd ode
bash-3.2$ ls
CHANGELOG.txt Makefile.am build lib ou
GIMPACT Makefile.deps configure.in libccd tests
INSTALL.txt OPCODE contrib ode tools
LICENSE-BSD.TXT README.txt drawstuff ode-config.in
LICENSE.TXT autogen.sh include ode.pc.in
bash-3.2$ ./autogen.sh
Please make sure that you use automake 1.10 or later
Warnings about underquoted definitions are harmless
Running aclocal
./autogen.sh: line 32: aclocal: command not found

Then nothing works after that…Have any ideas?

This looks great, but I get lost when you direct me to Demura's instructions. Those are for windows... i skipped them and proceeded to copy the files into ode/roboSimu.

where you tell us to:
cp lib/DebugDoubleDLL/libode_doubled.dylib roboSimu/DebugLib

i cannot find a .dylib file. the only file present in that directory is a .so file called:
libode_doubled.so

what went wrong here? please advise!

You are very welcome!, I will send you a small patch to enable seamless compilation in a mac just by using: "--target gnu --os macosx", the only modification roboSimu.lua needs in OS X is linking against the framework GL and GLUT instead of the libraries.

Hi Roberto,

Thank you very much for writing this article. I do not use Max OS X, so I cannot test my sample programs now.
